I am a strong believer in this statement because in my heart. It is really hard for me to ask someone to do something that I would never do for my job. I see on my job a lot of teachers doing the opposite of this all the time. Many times as the leader in the classroom, we are always telling the students to do something in the class. I am always telling my students to tuck in their shirts or to pick up trash from the floor. We have a huge problem with the trash at our school. I am constantly finding little candy wrappers in the classroom. I find myself constantly picking up little pieces of candy paper around the school. You cannot tell someone to do something if you are unwilling to do it yourself.
