Don't drink and drive

Well, the holiday season is upon us now. It is probably the best time of the year for a lot of people but it can be the worst time for some people. I am really excited about the holiday season. People seem to stay in a better frame of mind. I haven’t run into a negative person this holiday season. I will greet them with a lovely happy holiday. I will attend a lot of holiday parties as we celebrate the New Year. I need to remind myself to watch the intake of alcohol at these parties. My friend who lives in Austin, TX, told me about his friend. He got a DWI in Austin. He was pulled over by the Austin police. He was coming back from an office party when he saw the lights from the police car. This was the first time; he had this problem with the law. He didn’t understand all the procedures of the law. He told me that the police officer was following him for about a ½ mile when they notice his driving. He was waving in the streets a little bit. When, they pulled him over to the side of the road. They made him take a DWI test. He has always passed other people on the streets when he saw them give this DWI test. He was really surprise that he had a hard time passing this simple little DWI test. They made him walk on a straight line and he had to do a coordination test. Lastly, he had to blow into this machine to test his blood alcohol level. The officers felt that he was okay to leave but they gave him a stern warning about driving during the holiday season. He was very lucky because he is going through a divorce. His lawyer is really costing him a lot of money. I am really glad that he had a positive outcome. I have heard so many bad stories about drunk driving. Please stay safe when you are out on the town. I will see you on the PGA Tour.

Happy Holidays!
